Open Mic @ the Chaise Lounge

At my hour-long comedy set,
I got 0 laughs.
They sat silently, listening,
as I rambled out daft
anecdotes, feelings, memories and more.
I swear to you,
at one point,
I heard a pin hit the floor.

At minute 59,
they checked their watch and then,
My therapist said; ‘Well that’s an hour,
Time’s up Ben’.
